Small tip. If ever you get a message of a bank transaction being executed which was not authorised by you, switch off your phone immediately. Don't switch it on until the matter is reported and resolved. Meanwhile you could use that sim card in another handset. That will save your account from getting further debited.

I am an android developer and now you cannot have all full sms permission easily unless you are whitelisted by google itself, you can only read sms that is being sent by your app or your sever that contains an identifying hash that is being sent with the sms...if you are a special app that needs all sms access or permission like sms manager or truecaller or something then only google puts you on whitelisted package list and you can get full access..this can happen to only old android devices that are running on backdated OS like Android 8 or something..

Crowd area me scammer ke bande Bluetooth pair krate hain aur bande ke through scammer tak ftp access mil jata hai aur usko sms access Milne pr number se sare account access krke account Khali kr deta hai.. Same type of Sms you will get from scammers saying Your SBI YONO needs to be linked from PAN, otherwise your account will be suspended .. they also put a fake YONO login page link , where as soon as you put your ID password, it will be hacked.. So make sure you don't open such messages or trust them.

SAME SCAM HAPPENED WITH MY MOM in Dec '22 They lured us with a the name of a famous restaurant had an offer since the fraud was above x lakhs rupees, they said they cannot do anything . All they did was help us find the Scammer's app on her phone and advised us to factory reset. If police can't help what will cyber helpline or website help? Fortunately the Bank softwares did not allow any money to be withdrawn
