I didn’t really get any answers in The Finish Line. I mean yes they revealed in the end the whole set up situation but it was so beyond dumb! I think this author didn’t even know the ending when it came. However, I did like it. Couldn’t stand the first 2 but The Finish Line gave great relief for those 2 crazy characters.

I just got One True Loves & Reminders of Him and can't wait to read them! I've not read the Flock series but I read Drive by Kate Stewart a few years ago and really loved it! It involves a musician and music journalism, and a playlist with a song starting each chapter. It's a love triangle that makes you hurt and love all of them anyway (no cheating). I like how it's set up. You get the main part of the story in flashback & who she ends up with is revealed at the end, so there's a mysterious edge. I was happy with who she picked. The way love and music terminology is compared at times is beautiful. Love the quotes: "Music is the heart's greatest librarian." "You have to wait until one minute past desperation." "In love with two worthy kings, and I was queen of the damned." "If anyone tells you a song is important to them, you should turn it up loud, close your eyes, and really listen . Because at the end, you will know that person so much better."
