Thanks Marty. I love the upbeat portions (with Rico). I gotta tell you, I never loved this episode UNTIL after my 3rd or 4th viewing. That's when I noticed there's a lot more to this story than meets the eye. Then I became a big fan of 'Amen..' 🙂

You really had to be around in the 80s to appreciate this episode. It's mostly played for laughs, but Jim and Tammy Baker were inescapable back then.

This was their satire episode of 1980's tv evangelists, who often practiced the un-Bibical "prosperity gospel" and were also much hypocritical in their personal lives. It also showed how Bob Prophet, like Baker, Swaggert, and others, didn't start out that way, but that the money corrupted them.
