Jan herds 84 bulls and steers by herself, does a great job with it. Jan has a great feel for what it takes to move cattle with no stress. She is very quiet and methodical when it comes to herding cattle. She never raises her voice and when the cattle stop moving, she slowly moves back and forth behind them until they start walking again. It certainly helps to have good products in the form of Powerflex Fence geared reels with polybraid wire and Obrien step-in posts. Greg that is one beautiful farm. I like the rolling landscape with those big oaks in the background. Greg there are some great looking bulls in that mob. The ranchers buying these bulls this season are going to get some great breeders.

Jan is a great herder! We are feeding hay to build our pastures. We are less than 2 years into this property that was neglected for over 20 years. Learning from Greg Judy and people like him has helped a lot!

Good day Greg and Jan! As far as the wind is concerned, if ya don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. Of coarse there is wind, this is real life! It would be nice if people just stopped complaining and enjoyed the video. 🤣 Have a great one guys!

First: It's an absolutely beautiful day and farm. Great to see. Thank you. Second: You didn't holler into the phone so no problem there. Third: Wind noise is normal and natural so as long as I can hear you (which I can) it doesn't bother me. And I'll echo others who state that if you can't say something nice, please just remain silent. Thank you.

Hi Greg looks like the farm is going well. You say you have a lead cow I can't remember her number now do you have a lead ball or do they all just mingle around like they just did at the top of the hill?

Thanks for the video! You are a great couple always working together. I know what you mean by wind. Once I turn on the video and here comes the wind. I have 3 south poll heifers I need to sell out of my cows. What should I price them at? They are around 9 months old.

Hey man i live in north Alabama and have a small cattle farm. What is the best mix to overseed my pasture with?
@gregjudyregenerativerancher
@gregjudyregenerativerancher Ай бұрын
Don't plant anything. Use your cattle's hooves to stimulate the seed bank you have in your soil, followed by a 45-day rest period .

@@gregjudyregenerativerancher what if i canr give a 45 day rest? I have 2 paddocks split down the middle. I move them every week. Grass gets plenty tall just alot of yellow flowers in it not sure what they are. Just not as green as it use to be.

@deadburnitboys9921 I would think your paddocks need to be smaller and your cows moved more frequently if possible
