This whole Season 12 is like a brand new generation of Drag Race, the cast, the challenge, the concepts, the drama... I've been a fan since S1, and this is the best season

It’s not even close to being the best season ever. Nothing will ever top seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Everything since those seasons has been a bit of a let down. I think it all started when they stopped doing the older version of untucked starting with season 7. Untucked used to be so much fun to watch, now this new format is a snooze fest. Seasons 7-12 have been good, don’t get me wrong, but compared to the first 6 seasons, they’ve been bland. I blame the queens for worrying too much about what fans think of them. They are scared to say anything bad about each other or fight on camera anymore. I also blame the fans, because the way they treat the queens on social media is disgusting. No wonder why they don’t want to create any drama on the show anymore, countless death threats by lunatic fans will do that to a queen I guess.

@@trevorbayers2175 i'd say S8 and S12 have been standouts when looking at the newer seasons. S7 and S11 were boring and S9-S10 were messy (great queens but some iffy judging/edits/fans). S12 especially was great and would probably have had a big girl winner if 'ya know' didnt happen. The casting was awesome and no one seemed filler.

Season 2 and 3 were boring af, and not let's even mention that the final queens were not actually the best one, was just after Sharon, I think because of the fame the show gain, the selection of the queen started being more fair and even tho..... Considering this I think season 12 was the hardest one because every queen came with a lot of personality, they had their drag very well designed and all of them were very talented. Something that you couldn't not see on the previous season.

I love some voices for folk, blues and country that are non-traditional, and I'm not the biggest believer that musicians need to sing beautifully either, as an art form, it is their way of expressing themselves nay? When music is art, rather than consumerism, the pitch matters less (unless it's specifically related to pitch and expansion, like opera, or pop, for example). I got carried away, but yeah. I'd definitely love to listen more of Jackie's voice, under specific music categories.
