Great video. It might be easier to just use a plastic container instead of a springform pan. Cheaper too😁😉

Great video. Thank you for making it. I have made lots of molds but not with this material. Have you remelted this mold material? I wondered how successful it turns out.

is there a way to do it without gluing them down? or spraying them down with a sealer?
@Janabstra2 жыл бұрын
Maybe using tape. I don’t recommend spraying them with anything since silicone sometimes react to other chemicals and can stay sticky and ruin your mold.
@marikiemarie7622 Жыл бұрын
Don't use any sprays at all! Gluing with hot glue is really the best options. Tape will cause it to run y Under too much and the cereal could still move during curing.

Those Froot Loops really turned out nice I’ve seen so many videos for molds and yours was the cleanest but I find it very time consuming having to glue every Fruitloop on their couldn’t you pour the mold mixture inside the round cake thing I forgot what it’s called lol but couldn’t you pour the mold liquid inside and then put the Froot Loops on the mold I don’t know if you understand what I’m saying I would think they would be much easier if you were to pour the mixture inside your round thing and then maybe placing the fruit loops like that very time consuming I don’t know if I would go minds I would try to come up with something else but they turned out beautiful thank you for sharing this video yo también soy de Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Wepaaa boricua 💖 thank you! Yes, it is very time consuming but I haven’t found another solution. May be if you use packing tape and somehow make a big round tape that covers the bottom and glue the fruit loops that way. I haven’t tried it but it could work! It’s all about experimenting. If you don’t glue them they can move while adding the silicone getting trapped inside which is going to be a bigger job at the end. I guess that if its for personal use and not to resell them gluing them with hot glue is not a big deal because it’s just one time you’ll have to do it, right? Hope this helps and thank for your comment 💖

@@Janabstra Dont try with packaging tape on food idems! I did it with a cookie that considerably weights more than a froot loop and like 3 minutes after pouring silicone the cookie came to the top and it was all ruined. Hot gun is the only soultion here, as package tape simply cannot holt 'fluffy' items that arent completly flat surfaces, i learned it the hard way. If you do like non food items (cabochons/flat backs for example) the package tape works without extra head gun, since you can really push it down with pressing weight onto in. (Im german so I hope you get what im trying to tell here) :)
