Thank you for this. I normally use resincrete by jdiction, which I really like. I have the Michael's products in a box sitting on my table waiting for me.

Same! I'm kinda bummed there's no ratio, tho.
@DaisyMae8097 ай бұрын
The ratio is 8:3. I converted the amounts on the back to grams and determined it’s 8:3 powder:water.

To help about mixing quantities it's basically 29% water and I found a formula to calculate how much material to use. grab the mold and fill it comfortably to the top with water and weigh the water content. Multiply that number times 2 and then that number by .86. (actually .82 to .86 but I found .86 was better) That total is your POWDER you need. You then multiple your POWDER number times your water percent. so 100g water means 100 x 2 or 200. then * .86 you get 172g powder and 49g water.

They came beautiful. I have Mix2Mold but haven’t used it yet. Thanks for showing how you used it.

If you have extra stuff spread it really thin on to wax paper and you can crumpled it up and save it in little baggies for later if you want to do to terrazzo. All of it can be saved!

Hi!! Thank you for the review! How did you do the flower impression?
@christinemajul68018 ай бұрын
There is a product called resincrete that for 100 grams of powder you use 30 grams of water. Can you make a video starting with thise ratios? Let's see what happens.

If it's not catching my new details like what you described why not poor little bit into the mold and then use a brush to prime the mold a little bit before pouring the rest of it

LOL so I read the reviews from my local Michael’s store about the sealer and you’re right they’re dried up 😮 Regarding the pigment inks, is it just like alcohol ink or is it different (thicker?)? How durable is this to make candles with? Seems like if it got too hot it’d break.
@claytonjames47794 ай бұрын
I would contact the manufacturer to ask that question. I know that resin Crete and some of the other ones say they are rated for heat.

Since this content creator is not interested in engaging on this post, I'd like to tell you all I bought this at michaels but they had it for a whole $10 cheaper at that crappy Hobby Lobby (the ones that won't pay for contraceptives for employees? remember?). I held my nose and bought it, and michaels also price matched them when I showed them the receipt from across the street.
