In today's video, I show you how to make this card which I'm calling a Triple Balcony Card. I saw a card on Pinterest which was on a single (non-opening) card base. My card is on a single fold base which is slightly smaller than our regular C6 card - 4” x 5¾” (11.5cm x 14.6cm) US 4” x 5½”. CS = Cardstock; DSP = Designer Series Paper; LH = left-hand; RH = right-hand
Moody Mauve CS - card base 8” x 5¾” (23cm x 14.6cm) US 8” x 5½”
Scored & folded at 4”, (10.1cm) US 4”
Basic White CS - 2 pieces middle layers 5⅝” x 3⅞” (14.3cm x 9.8cm) US 5⅜” x 3⅞”
Wildly Flowering DSP - design 1, 1 piece, top layer, 5½” x 3¾” (14cm x 9.5cm) US 5¼” x 3¾”
Moody Mauve CS - balcony strips 5¾” x 4½” (14.7cm x 11.4cm) US 5¾” x 4½”
On the long side, score at ⅞”, 1¾” (2.2cm, 4.4cm) US ⅞”, 1¾”. Turn CS 180° & repeat
On short side cut into three 1½” (3.9cm) US 1½” strips. Fold and score valley, mountain, mountain, valley to create balconies.
Basic White CS - 12 pieces middle layers for side panels on strips ¾” x 1⅜” (1.9cm x 3.6cm) US ¾” x 1⅜”
Wildly Flowering DSP- design 2, 12 pieces top layers for side panels on strips ⅝” x 1¼” (1.6cm x 3.3cm) US ⅝” x 1¼”
Basic White CS - 3 pieces middle layers for centre panels on strips 2⅛” x 1⅜” (5.6cm x 3.6cm) US ¾” x 1⅜”
Wildly Flowering DSP - design 2, 3 pieces top layers for centre panels on strips 2” x 1¼” (5.3cm x 3.3cm) US 2” x 1¼”
Basic White CS - scraps for sentiment layers, butterflies
Moody Mauve CS - scraps for sentiments, butterflies, images
