Thank you for this idea for our cards. They are lovely. I will use this stamp set with this background this year. Also, thanks for the talk on history. I love our history. So many of us never bothered to learn where we came from. And how we survived. Our government is so offbase right now and for so many years that I fear for a future where we still can speak freely and live our lives as we please. Our team meeting prompted me to buy the Shepherd stamp set, and I can't wait to try it! And I agree with the need to pray for our country! Hurricane Helene has shown that this country has so many people who have dropped everything to help the victims of this disaster, regardless of their color or political or religious beliefs. It's just a shame that it takes such a disaster to bring out the goodness of the American people. I'll keep praying, for sure!

At your recommendation and based on the stories you told from the book IF YOU CAN KEEP IT, I did purchase the book. I haven't learned how to use audio books with my kindle, so I purchased the book. I did get it started but then the holidays came and I got sidetracked. However, I do plan to continue and finish the book. I have certainly learned things I didn't know from the parts I've read. Thank you, Anna. Love the technique but even more, the history talk. We can't erase our history but should cherish it, learn from it and share it. If you love history and the Bible, watch some Jack Hibbs videos. He even interviewed Eric M., the author of the book you mentioned "If You Can Keep It." God is good, all the time!

Good technique. Love your scripture cards! Unfortunately, true history isn't being taught in our schools these days. Eric Metaxas is amazing. I have heard him speak a few times and have one or two of his books, but not this one. I may just have to get it!

Your insight about history and how we could lose the America we know is right on the mark. It is sad that so much that is wrong is considered ok now… Fortunately, God has a plan and we must pray and vote the right people in place.

I have a Founder’s Bible that goes into great detail about these great men who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. The men in the Continental Congress actually took days to fast and pray. Learning that about our country’s history had a great impact on me. You are so right about all you said…we became complacent and forgot to guard our rights that were fought for in earnest.

If, we don’t remember history we are apt to make the same mistakes! If, we don’t vote, you are silently agreeing with the path that we are one. So, not voting is in actuality voting. Please think about that.
