The only character that could fit the third slot is a support that can Assist Follow Up into Jane or Seth. And even then… yeah, you’re better off with just these two.

The only use I’ve found for the third agent is Rina, I just switch her in for the pen ratio before going into Jane combo. Plus her parry can help dodge some attacks Seth isn’t great for

You can do animation cancels with Seth. After the parry, use charge attack or press skill, and you can quick assist jane during the first frames of Seth's attacks. This way, Seth keeps his debuff, inflicts daze, and doesn't take too much field time

Yeah but you should only do this if Jane already has the shield, otherwise you won’t be able to get it because it’s only passed through quick assists or chain attacked triggered by his enhanced basic attack.

@lionel7360 That's the deal. You do get quick assist. It's a bit tricky to do because you have to press space at the last second of quick assist prompt, but after a few minutes in training, I'm doing that consistently. It's weird that not many ccs are talking about that

This duo is so fun to play and has such great synergy that honestly a third character often feels awkward and might be a dps loss if not played super optimally. The quick parry with Seth and immediate switch back to Jane is already plenty strong.

Jane's teams for 3rd slot are pretty limited right now - Rina, Lucy, or a stunner are the only decent options - makes sense that only Jane and Seth can clear so much!! Hoping that Caesar/Burnice pairs well for a third slot, buffing attack + applying more physical/fire anomaly!!

I prefer Weeping Gemini For me I currently have it at level 50 with 5 stars. Gives you an Advance Stat of ATK 22% When afflicting an Attribute it increases your Anomoly Proficiency by 48, stacking up to 4 times Rainforest is the opposite, while it gives you more Anamoly Proficiency as your advance stat. For every 10 Energy consume (assuming you have 5 star Rainforest W-Engine) it gives you an ATK% buff of 4%. Stacking 10 times.

Weeping gemini is better if you are using a disorder team or hypercarry team. Its not great if youre using a stunner with jane

How are you getting stacks of the attack buff? Neither of the wengines or disc sets appear to trigger that effect?

It's the current Shiyu Defense effect, whenever an anomaly is triggered it gives a stack of the buff

Right at the start of the video, how do you immediately give the shield and buff to Jane? Supposedly you only get those through the EX Skill or the Switch parry attack. The Hold normal should only shred 20% anomaly build up resistance. Am I missing something?

The hold normal attack gives u the quick assist option for ur dps (in this case Jane) which then gives them a shield. Ur correct in that u can get the shield through defensive assists with Seth, but his ex special does not. It does however gives Seth himself a shield while also filling up the bar that Seth needs to use his charge normal attack which shreds anomaly resistance and gives the quick assit option.

Technically speaking the shield is given whenever you quick assist, which is what the hold does, the reason I can do it at the start is because Seth's M2 gives him enough charge to use it right from the start. The EX skill only gives Seth the shield, but it does give the charge needed for the hold attack

Yeah reduce the anomaly build up resistance which makes your anomaly build up rate increase
