I'm glad that Ms Elliott is teaching the truth about African and African-American contributions to the world. But it's so sad that all those African-Americans Professors before her who taught the same things were vilified and didn't get any credit to this day.

I like her, I like how down to earth she is..frank and blunt. She is not black worshipping, she does not hate her race, she is just being logical and giving her logical analysis of things which people of her race may find offensive because it goes against their beliefs and causes a sense of fear about change.

But when a race of people are separated & slavery happens- it’s not important to the masters! Africans came from tribes-slavery stopped all that! But now all you hear about is single Black moms & dead beat dads! Who started this? White masters were the original “ dead beat” dads-when they reproduced w/females slaves-to have more slaves! So who are the perpetrators? You can’t hide History & the truth!!!!!!

I love Jane Elliot and agree with her methodology and most everything she teaches and the only place where I differ from her is when she says the Indigenous People should get reparations 1st as if they haven't been given some reparations. Now, I don't pretend to think that what they have been payed is enough but ADOS (American Descendants of Slavery) have gotten exactly zero reparations from this country that was built off the backs of my ancestors. We have been cast to the bottom only to be one upped by every other cultural group. Now they're placing the Hispanics above us in terms of paying reparations. I mean really? We've been getting the short end of the stick for hundreds of years and this countries creators or colonizers will never ever admit their wrong doings. So election cycle to election cycle we believe the lie that the Democrats will actually engage in reciprocity for our vote and every time they fake us out. I just hope my people wake up b4 it's too late.

What's wrong with saying "under God" and "God bless America" in our school pledges? Otherwise, I agree with Miss Elliott. Be fair and just, but never ashamed of mentioning God's name.

We have citizens of all different faiths and religions and citizens who practice none. So why don't we have one for everybody or none. What about Allah, Buddha, etc.? We are one nation under many gods and and non Christians should not have to be forced to say they promise allegiance to the God that you worship and because we are a secular country with no state religion per the constitution. Hope I answered your question.

"I am black, but comely (or good looking), O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me (change of skin pigmentation due to climatic conditions): my mother's children (refers to other races) were angry with me; they made me the keeper (slave/servant) of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard (Africa) have I not kept" (Songs of Solomon 1:5-6)
