I have watched most of the interviews about her, I have read all her books, I have seen her movies. I think I have admired her most of my life. I wish I knew her personally, because there is one thing I would tell her; through her pages I have come to know her tremendous generosity in sharing her life experiences. I would like to tell her that that generosity has taught many women where to find the strength that we all have, some where within. And that is a wonderful legacy.

People are soooo much more interesting when you see them as an individual and not a colour or a gender. It allows you to hear and understand them. I am new to the Jane Fonda fan club but better late than never. She led an incredibly wonderful life. She demonstrates that we cannot do it alone and that there many contributors to the success. No one should be discounted in achieve the end game.

Jane Fonda was a longtime hero of mine; I'm twelve years her junior. I finally had the great privilege of meeting her at a book signing, at the R J Julia Bookstore in Madison, CT. She was gracious, and I treasured that moment for years -- still do. However, it continues to gnaw at me that she did not join the side of (worldwide) critical thinkers when the Covid debacle descended. I haven't yet seen her response as to how she feels about her response, now that four full years have passed. I so hope that she'll, at some point, be as forthcoming and as truthful as I've always felt she is. Thank you, Ms. Fonda, for all those years of courage you helped to instill in me; for those years, I am in your debt.

@CatherineSTodd3 жыл бұрын
@@joannclemens2357 : Our government "had our boys killed" during the Vietnam war, not those who were protesting the war. What is wrong with you? She had no power over who was sent or killed in Vietnam. The story you are telling is simply NOT TRUE. Fonda did MORE for all the soldiers coming back from Vietnam and were suffering from PTSD and physical disabilities, while the government was ignoring Agent Orange and all the damage caused to the soldiers at that time. Plus she, like millions of others (including myself back in the day in 1968) protested and finally helped END the VIETNAM WAR. I hope you now care about our millitary soldiers and are working to help them, even the ones who have suffered through Afghanistant and more.

There is something about her that bespeaks of a need for perfectionism. That she would confide to " a need to please" does not surprise me in the least. I sometimes wonder of she has C-PTSD. Perhaps this is because she tried so hard to gain her dad's love and came from a dysfunctional family (didn't a lot of us in that era?) Still, I have always liked her because despite her strength and power she sometimes seems so human and vulnerable. I think Lily Tomlin sees behind Jane's glamor act and need for perfection and that's why they are such great friends.

Dear Jane Fonda, "Democracy isn't a spectator sport!" The word "democracy" literally means "people's law"! And the opposite of democracy is an autocracy or facism. I thank you for your constant effort to educate and fight for our freedoms!

@@me-ln4pd Just Google their two names, separated by the proverbial "three dots," which always seems to work; Gita was hired by Jane for a ten-year period during which oxygenated facials were administered; that's (apparently) for what Breslin was most widely known, at that time.

Henry Fonda is one of my top fave classic Hollywood actors, not the best father, nor was her mother but they did the very best that they could. Great interview and loved the Cagle exercise at the end. Jane has such an infectious laugh and energy about her, can’t help but smile. 😍🥰😘🤩🌟✨ 💪🏻 👑 💎 🏆 ⚜️ 🤍
