By this point Jane had already bought her a pony, jewelry, touched her face to feel her smile, joked about seducing her, spends all his time with her, literally killed his only lead to RJ to save her life, and stares at/touches/watches her eat every chance he gets. I know its just a show, and I know people can get a little silly, but in real life I could tell my friend was in love just by her general demeanor--the person she loved wasn't even with her. If I knew someone like Jane in real life his affection for Lisbon would be so intense it'd give me a headache.

The creator said he didn't plan a romantic relationship between them from the beginning, that's wise, to let the tension always to the end of the show to not lose ratings, but it's inevitable the chemistry they had and nothing like sibilings at all, as some fans says, they work together and shared a friendship, they are not intimate friends, there's an akwardness always since they don't share personal feelings between them, that's not a brother/sister friendship, it's beyond that, it's so mature and real. Bruno said it as a growing thing as in real life, they cared deeply for each other but whatever feelings they had they both were closed and afraid to even assume that, which made their romance a lot more real and beautiful.

Hank kept looking back at his mom and jane being the mentalist that he is , was recieving silent cues from them both.Notice that everytime Jane addresses the mom she stops, listens,looks at hank then proceeds to do what she was doing;however she was supposed to be crazy,not exactly the trait of a crazy person.Where the shoes are concerned, Jane has a habit of checking the shoes of people in wheelchairs to see if the bottoms are scuffed and if they are truly disabled then their soles should be clean since they cant walk.
