Hy madam was asking if instead of the height u are given the slanting height do u use it

Thank you Nuru , if you are given the slant height of the frustrum , first produce lines to form the original cone,,then find the slant heights l and L of small and original cone using linear scale factor. Finally use Pythagoras theorem to find h and H of small n original cone which are used to find volume ..for more clarification contact 0728455840

Hy madam I got another question about a figure of bucket in the form of a frustrum of a cone of an open top radius 20cm and base radius 14cm.The depth is 45cm.a)You are asked to calculate the volume of the bucket .b)if the bucket is half full of water , calculate the radiusof the water level.and there are three radiuses two have been given and one is the one u have to find it
