Great interview. Not going to lie, I got a little teary-eyed when she was talking about the loss of her father-in-law. I lost my mother suddenly around the same time last year. We had just finished binging PLL together (Mona was her absolute favorite), and because of Janel and everyone else involved in that show I have those amazing memories of my mother, something I could never say "thank you" for enough. Sometimes entertainers do much more than simply entertain. They bring people together sometimes without even realizing it. Looking forward to seeing what's next for Janel!

I’m always so mesmerized by the beauty of asian mixed with caucasian. They look so exotic and stunning. I remember when I was young, the UK band Sugababes had this asian caucasian lady who looks similar to Janel. I’m just so fascinated by their beauty. How I wish I have caucasian blood and be as pretty as they are. ❤️

This is the first interview i've seen her do where she wasn't all cheesy, dramatic and over the top. I truly feel she is maturing and evolving. A little conceited when she said her husband isn't dazzled or intimidated by her fame. I don't feel she's that big of a star. Only well known with PLL fans, which is a small majority compared to overall. But it's good she was "real" in this video. That's all she's ever had to do was--keep it real. Now if she will continue down this path and stay humble...start by being 'real' & being honest about the true extent of her fame(no need to make it more than it is because we all know) I think she will continue to do well and hopefully drop all these haters that try to bring her down.

Janel Parrish lease my love, don't give importance to these words, people always manage to find the rot in everything, nobody understands that even if you are an actress you have feelings, you are a person like the others, anyone can open his heart, there will always be someone ready to criticize you, but please, always walk with your head held high, you are precious, you know who you are, I hope that nobody can ever make you feel wrong, who loves you knows what kind of person you are, not giving weight to the words of those who live to criticize, you deserve every beautiful thing in the world.

Perhaps you got my intentions "twisted", the majority of my comment was actually complimenting you on how far you have come with your maturity. You have been criticized more than once for your silly and immature behavior in the past...those are actually the words of other people, not mine. Now you do have your young followers who will defend you regarding my comment and your behavior, but with obvious reason...they're young! You've also had plenty of haters in the past, with good reason also. You know very well you initiated bullying with your followers a few years back. (If you would like for me to elaborate on all that I will...but do we really want to go down that road again?) So I will echo your own words back to you and say your are most certainly right. Hillary Stewart I believe that you have completely misunderstood the message of this interview, it invited people to be more confident with themselves, not to be afraid of prejudices, to always walk with their heads held high, and you come to criticize, you interpret the message completely wrong, and no, I'm not 'young' as you mean, and yes, I know how Janel is, and believe me, you couldn't find a more honest person around you, so next time before judging someone, think that that person has feelings, just like you.
