As a fan of the previous Olaplex products that I've tried, I wanted to know is No. 8 a must-have to maximize moisture, penetration and to repair damage in conjunction with the No. 3? Do we need it? Why do we need it and what is it guaranteed to do? Do the claims hold up? How do my natural curls react to the product? @@JaneraRose i just wanted to update you.. I LOVE these products!! I got #'s 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. These are some of the best products that I've used.. and I've used ALOT cause I'm a product junkie..lol. I can tell why they are so expensive because they are GREAT quality and a little goes a long way. I have alot of hair and my wash day was sooo much quicker than it normally is. The slip on these products are AMAZING. It remains to be seen about the repairing of the damage to my hair but i don't feel like it will be an impossible task to wash my hair at least every other week instead of once a month now. hi janera 🤗 ive been interested in olaplex for years but haven't bit the bullet. most of the time, i start at the roots of my hair when detangling, out of habit. it means less combing & brushing on my ends, which are already thinner. your hair looks great after applying #8. i wouldn't mind doing a full olaplex wash day. tfs 😁

I’m so glad KZbin led me to you page because I want more information about olaplex from a licensed cosmetologist perspective. I have used the 2 and 3. I used the 3 before purchasing the 2. While I enjoy both, it seems the 3 restores the elasticity back in my hair better than 2. No 2 seems to add more strength and fullness to my hair. Have you noticed this? Just wondering if it’s just my hair…

Thanks so much for watching, Clove. If I had to choose between the two I would pick 5, mainly because it’s a product you can use with every wash day. I use 8 for deep conditioning days only. 💕

Also, I have olaplex shampoo and 4-n-1 conditioner and was thinking about picking up their 5 conditioner. After hearing so much about number 8 I’m not sure whether to get the 5, the 8 or just stick with the four in one. A part of me wants to try them on so I will know which one works best on mine hair. Whicj of the conditioners do you recommend for dry, dense, low-porosity hair that is probed to tangle?

Heya! 👋🏾 I prefer 5 over 8 and the 4-in-1 but I can make a detailed video comparing them very soon! The 5 is more of an every day/weekly conditioner whereas I use the 8 for deep treatments and the 4-in1 as a cowash. Hope this helps! 🤞🏾
