Considering Bright bill Finds his way to the human settlement there and isn't being attacked. I have to take a guess that due to the last fiasco and incident where they found their way into the greenhouse, that they likely updated the robot's to not attack the birds again. I mean, considering the damage done was actually extremely substantial for such a minor thing, I'd hope they updated the robots programming for handling certain situations.
