I lost my brother 4 years ago and I still think about him every day. This song takes me back to the day when we took his ashes to our favorite spot high the Mountains and scattered them in our favorite fishing stream. We spent so much time there camping with friends and family. Some of our happiest memories as a family are tied to that place. Thank you for taking me back there.

Being from East Tennessee I grew up with bluegrass and Country music everywhere. Our heritage has lots of Irish sounds and rhythms mixed in. You'd be right at home playing the clubs up and down the valley

My paternal ancestors grew up with this music. My great aunt had banjos, guitars, harmonicas, fiddles, a jug on her big front porch. Before we left there was music, a ritual goodbye. My dad played guitar and harmonica. It made sacred memories I cherish.

Never heard this song before. Love your voice with this song and the giggles at the end. Love the band. It sounds like the "Scotch-Irish, Appalachain, blue-grass, songs brought over from your part of the world. Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky. I had a great-aunt. When we visited there were old instruments, banjo, fiddle, jug on the porch and 1 or more people were singing or playing before we left. My dad played harmonica and guitar.
