This is over an hour into a high octane show where janet has been dancing her ass off and sweating while singing live! Show me a " powerhouse" vocalist during this era of the late 90s that can do that. Your Whitney Mariah and Celine's of the world are great but can't even they can't.Mad respect and props to Janet and she sound great. All solo mic feeds I have heard of hers always sound great.

@@vinylblack3049 It isn't the same thing, because filtering involves an entirely different process, usually done in Audacity to achieve a mediocre vocal isolation. Extracting audio from DVDs/BDs with Dolby Surround 5.1/7.1 is much simpler and yields better results, as stems are put into separate channels for individual speakers. These can be ripped with a myriad of programs. Some discs have encryption that certain extraction programs won't be able to touch, like Moonwalker, but DVDFab has always worked for me.

Her vocals aren’t strong. I love me some JJ. But we all know she’s a studio singer. Just like Madonna. Still I love them both.

Who says that they need to be? I love me some of the JanFam but we all know some of y'all do the most with the comparisons. Just enjoy the song. If you want "strong vocals" listen to an artist with stronger vocals.

Live singing is always different for a tourist artist because they do it night after night. If you sang full on all the time every night, you'd blow your voice out. She's smart to somewhat under sing. Mariah, Beyonce and Whitney all sang live at early stage of career. They also blew out their voices and had to work to bring it back.
