They always say that about certain female pop stars who have longevity but are not Madonna 😂. Janet, Kylie are two that they keep saying only sold 180 million records whereas I'm sure (especially with Ms Jackson) that she's sold a lot more than that by now in 2024. It's like they can't collect the real sales or they like to keep them at a lower level.

My personal greatest artist ever. Have just loved her from the first time I heard Dream Street. Had no clue Janet Jackson was one of "those Jacksons" until much much later. And she has written a soundtrack of life for me. Whenever I am in need of a pick up, laughter, or tears....she has the right song for the right emotion.
