Who cares...I'm not an audio engineer, and I can tell too, it doesn't matter. It's JANET JACKSON PERFORMING!!! Who cares about the rest...I mean this footage while great, isn't all that tight in on Janet, and yet you can still see what a great performance this is, just enjoy it. :)

People want to see Janet perform, not standing there singing...or playing an instrument. lolI don't understand comparing Janet Jackson to Alicia Keys, Mary J, Christina...It just doesn't make any sense. I could see comparing Madonna, Britney Spears...Maybe even Beyonce, in terms of performance styles, but the artists you listed are like comparing apples and oranges.

sorry carmel the 4 ladies you mentioned SING more than lipsync. It's prolly cuz they are more vocalist than they are dancers. Janet is the other way around. So a bit of lipsyncing is a bit understood. And not to turn this into WW3, but Beyonce kills live ALL THE TIME!

OMG she is lipsyching yo. I'm not a Janet hater I'm just telling the truth. It's prerecorded. She only speaks to the audience when it's live. Her lead vocals are prerecorded. I am an audio engineer TRUST ME I can tell. She does things throughout the performance to make it sound live, but she is not singing.

Sorry but I have NEVER seen Alicia Keys lipsych. Nor Mary J. Blige. Now I've seen Christina do it like once or twice. But believe me they ALL would blow Janet vocally away. I love Janet. But i'm sorry she has to do something different. Going to see someone lipsych through an entire concert just about is kind of old. Specially for a 41 year old woman. I'm sorry. I LOVE Janet. But it's time for a change. Maybe she should learn an instrument I would love to see her play one that would be different.

I love Janet I really do. But I'm so tired of the lipsyching and robotic dancing. Please believe I will be first in line to get tickets and will be demanding front row.
