Its strange. Why does it feel like the footage of Janet live on television doesn't do her justice? The choreography was soooo good. This video displays that better than the live show. I'm reminded of her amazing Billboard performance that was ruined by the camera cut aways and bad angles

Mel - Because the tv footage is broadcasting the audio from the sound board, so you're really just getting what's coming thru the microphones mixed through the soundboard. As a result, you don't get the "bigger" sound coming out of the live speakers as well as the full sound of the audience response. Also, the camera cuts to different angles and the crowd, so you don't get a full appreciation of the choreography. The amateur audience videos really do capture the vibe and excitement better.

Janet never had a high and powerful voice like Mariah Carrey or Whitney Houston...but i ve always loved her because she is a performer and all her music is very good. One of my fav was " that s the way love goes". She looked very beauriful in that video. Pls check it out. But this made for now shooting isn t good. Well, the sound makes her voice very low, the camera angles make the chore very dull and she looks tired. Nevertheless she came back when i didn t even expect her to continue music and dancing. She killed it with this african like music

I’m so use to crowds cheering, back in the day for all artists. Even now when I’m into Kpop I’m use to both cheering and fanchangs and singing along. She’s 52. The fact that she can still sell out tours, headline festivals, do routines from 18-30 years ago says A LOT. There’s a bunch of 20 something year olds that can’t even do a simple routine, let alone her rigorous moves. Give the woman her props. I actually hated the entire Janet set. To me she seemed lackluster and forced. Same old routine and choreography. She did too many songs. No wardrobe changes, no lighting displays and the opening was terrible. Sad. She did far better during her actual State of the World Tour in 2017. Janet, please change it up, we know you can do better.

She only had a set amount of time. A 50 minute set. She changes into the second outfit after like 45 minutes. So there was no point for an outfit change. “Too many songs.” Lol. She’s one of the VERY few to have a full list of hits after hits after hits. So she tries to squeeze as many as she can. This was nothing compared to her actual tour. No need for her to do a full production when this isn’t her tour. She was not going to bring out all the big guns for a 50 minute show. When it’s all about her and her show, that’s when she’ll do that. And the opening? You mean when she calls out racism and police brutality and treating people equally? That was terrible? That says a lot. 🙂
