I swear, this woman never disappoints. She always brings the heat. I would of loved to have seen the Metamorphosis concert although I've seen her live plenty of times. So I'm tired of anyone bitching that Janet is slowing down. She still kicks most younger peoples asses on the dance floor. Remember she isn't just dancing for a few minutes, she is having to practice and dance for hours and sing too. Most people are huge and lazy these days by age 35. This woman is over 50 and joints and bones don't take impact like they did when you were young and also the stress and injuries from past decades of hard kick ass routines on tour take a toll on your body. I rather she be doing concerts than injuring herself for all you obviously YOUNG idiots that have no idea what your body is gonna feel like after 40 and beyond. Then you'll be saying, "DAMN!! Janet was kicking ass still in her 50's and I can't hardly get my ass outta this chair where I parked it since my teens and bitched that she wasn't moving enough." HA!!!

She needs to pace herself, but when she danced to If and Rhythm Nation, Damita Jo killed it. I would definitely pay to see her again. I took my 20 year old concert and even she said it was the best she's ever seen. For Janet Jackson to be able to look great and dance well at her age is something that should be applauded.

And let's not forget Paula Abdul used to choreograph for Janet back when they were young. And you can find plenty of interviews from 10 years back where Paula talks about all the pains and damage all that dancing for decades has caused to her body. So same applies to Janet. :o

Paula impact on Janet is very overblown she only did three songs and three dance numbers for Janet. Dancing does have impact on your longevity but Janet is a Jackson, everyone declines with age that is natural. She still moves very well for her age and i dont see her stopping for maybe another decade. MJ couldnt move as well when he was about to go on his final tour (52) he still moved better than most men half his age the same is true with Janet. Prince had hip problems before his death, it just comes with the territory. Paula probably was dancing in heels too much.

davidcici11Evolution, I think you misunderstood my original comment, I wasn't talking about how many dance numbers paula choreographed for janet, I was talking about them both being extreme dancers for decades and how it affects both their bodies with age. And it doesn't matter if she's a Jackson or not, we all age differently and our bodies suffer down the road from injuries and surgeries we had when we were younger, Arthritis, pinched or herniated disc and other bone and muscle degeneration issues doesn't give a crap if your a Jackson or not. Growing old is not easy, especially if your still dancing was my point. It was geared toward people who were commenting that Janet wasn't dancing enough in her recent shows. I love Janet like you :D And I agree she still kicks ass on the dance floor. ;D
