Janet has some of the best background vocals and layering in the industry. It’s crazy hearing them stripped down one by one because there’s so many of them with so many different textures that they don’t sound like they’d blend well together until you hear the final result.

Yeah Janet was almost considered to play Trinity in The Matrix and during this time she played in the movie The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps and this song is the soundtrack of the movie both the movie and song were big hits in the box office and on the Billboard charts. In a career of legendary performances, this is probably one of my favorite! I seen her in concert an I don’t care what anyone says I was front row second level way at the back of the arena and she looked right into my eyes. I popped my head up from the binoculars, looked at her waved, and she waved right back. That’s when I knew I could have dated Janet 😆🤷🏻‍♂️

If you love the song, you should check out the music video. It’s also playful, fun, and colourful like the song. Futuristic vibe too. The song was released in 2000, from the Nutty Professor 2 movie, which she starred in. It went to #1. I’ve been thinking you need a JJ live week.

Janet Jackson auditioned for the role of Trinity alongside a handful of big female stars of Hollywood at that time I think Janet was a runner up today she don't remember even auditioning for the role of Trinity lol she recently had a interview about it on the Drew Barrymore show.
