I believe someone mentioned that Janet Jackson is shy or ask a question about her being shy? That's a new one for me because I never thought of her as being shy. I've always thought of her as being an introvert with extrovert tendencies but mostly an introvert. Maybe I see her that way because I'm an introvert myself. A basic definition of introvert is; someone who refuels by being alone having quiet time and just thinking, about the day, about life. It's also taking in what's going on around them. I love my time to refuel, my being alone time to refresh and regain my energy. Another way it's of saying it is introverts are deep thinkers and when something speak to us we are usually pretty passionate about it.... (being shy and being a introvert are two totally different things). Anyway just thinking out loud. Lol...

This ask janet anything interview had me excited for the longest.I was excited at the possibility she ay pic 1 of my thousand questions i sent in.I also thought even if she doesnt pick my exact question im pretty sure #janfam has pretty much same ones worded differently.I planned in great detail to watch this interview alone no interruptions,having my fav snack,and sipping my fav drink.Stayed off social media didnt want any preconceived notions,I was all in😍👑🔥💜😘🍓.The disappointment cut like a knife,but to see her pretty face and and soft spoken voice served as a bandaide tho.I dont know the details of this interview and questioning so i wont be hard to just let this one go.I love this beautiful ,black,amazing woman and this doesnt change anything.I stan Queen Janet Damita Jo Jackson always and forever.💜

I thought she was going to do a face to face interview with Steve. That would've been 100% interesting! The questions were nicely chosen, meaning, safe, lol. I'm glad she has had some open interviews this year, but this robot woman (I thought until janet asked her to repeat something), feels myspace days, lol! Steve is a good guy and he truly does respect the Jacksons. I remember his over the phone interview with MJ. I truly thought, though, it would be him and her.

I know journalists who have covered Janet, and you will never get spontaneous questions through to her. She sticks to approved topics and the same scripted answers. I don't know that she realizes her fans follow all of her interviews so we get stuck with the same answers and stories over and over.

This is true as of lately, but during her interviews in the 90s and also the Jermaine Dupri years, she was much more open, silly, and funny in her interviews. Check some of them out on here. I think you’d be pleasantly surprised by some of the questions and her answers to them. 🙂😀

Actually I disagree. If you search here on YT, you will find MANY interviews on here where the interviewer asked her questions we haven’t heard before. And she answers everything honestly, like she usually does. I guess, if you watched over 50 like I have and didn’t stop at like 1 or 2, you’d know that.

Around that time she often seemed slightly under the influence of something that was slowing her down and you can see it twice in this interview 8:50 when she slightly slurs the name “Steve” and when she moves her hair past her neck at 7:19. I’m really surprised because she already had a brother who had a drug problem and she saw it and tried to intervene and then he may have died because of it. And also because she had a little child by this point. It’s so sad. I really loved her in the late 80s and early 90s.

bAiLeETV - Because her manager and publicist pre-screen and pre-approve all questions. My cousin is an entertainment reporter who covered Janet before. When she arrives, her people immediately let every reporter know which topics are off-limits and what questions they should ask her. Then, all reporters have to pre-submit their questions to her team before they interview her, and her team lets the reporters know if their question is allowed. So, basically, when you see her do interviews, the reporter is asking the questions Janet's people told them they could ask. That's why they keep asking her the same questions. In this case, the chat was called "Ask Anything", yet you can see they filtered out the topics Janet's team wants her to answer. You know there were better questions out there.
