Her older music is so underrated. I love it you can tell it has that 80s groove and it sound so mature like the band S.O.S band, Cheryl, or somebody else would have recorded it.

+Lateshia Childs Het later music had more mass appeal because she got rid of these elements as they fell out favor towards the end of the 80s which is really when Janet's career began to take off. She became more of a dance and pop artist instead of R&B, Groove/Funk. Personally, I never really liked much of her later music. This is stuff is right at home for me.
