Janette's story highlights her cancer care experience at Valley Medical Center , where she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer after noticing abnormal postmenopausal bleeding. Under the care of Dr. Ron Swensen, gynecologic oncologist at Valley’s Oncology & Hematology Clinic, she underwent a minimally-invasive robotic surgery to have a hysterectomy. Grateful for the compassionate care she received, Janette encourages other women to prioritize their health and not hesitate to get health screenings. Her experience motivated her to share her journey in a book, emphasizing the importance of proactive health care.
