Unfinished Pusfume NPC mod - dialogue compilation

Back in 2022 me and a modder dalo_kraff were working on adding Pusfume as an NPC to the Keep. We got the dialogue working but due to multiple technical issues (crashes when switching careers, animation looping, facial animation, subtitles) it was dropped. Coming back to this a year later to give you all some Pusfume dialogue to listen to! All character dialogue is reusing preexisting voice lines from the game. Due to limitations of how dialogue bundles are loaded I was limited to choosing only Keep voice lines. I love the way he talks, the chitter-speak isnt exaggerated like it is in Total War. If you read excerpts from books involving Skaven, you'll see the grammar isnt overly exaggerated, they don't constantly repeat themselves, don't always say things like *"We barter-deal man-thing, yes yes?"* It's more toned down, this video is closer to how they actually speak

Reading "Skavenslayer" was a good decision hah - that and even without that knowledge I felt that constantly repeating words would tire out its gimmick quick if overdone

True but I still feel like it didn't have enough, whole lines wouldn't even include a single skaven mannerism and without the rapid raspy breaths it sounds a little uncanny (still excellent work however)

They repeat word, or say two similiar words if they want to give weight to that word, when they truly mean it, in TW diplomaci lines, it kinda makes sense.

It was thrilling, I lost many times and got to discover the plot from an entirely different perspective. My first ever run was a perfect victory, True Nightwing was the bloody uprising. It was sooo fucking cool that the endings change depending on which characters remain in the Downside. I think I was just too slow for the AI and just stood no chance against Oralech. To be honest, I wanna do another run where I fail the plan entirely and insult all characters, I wonder how that turns out

I'm not the first to suggest a Saurus or Skink, but if "a skink friend for the ubersreik 5 (or 7)" is a notion with a million fans, I'm one of em, and if it's a notion with one fan, I'm one of em, and if it's a notion with no fans, it's cause I died.

I have actually read and even provided criticisms to a few character concepts, or at least career concepts, about a Skink character. I forgot a few of them, but I remember one of them was a Priest of Heaven and then a Red-Crested Skink. And besides, who knows; aside from Skaven, I also really like Lizardmen (at least in Total Warhammer). I might end up writing a lizardboy some day, when/if I decide I'm done writing for Shelk - a Lizardman character concept offers up unique challenges and opportunities to add. Buuuut that day could take a while, as I've yet to stop writing Shelk lol

Neither seem particularly reasonable, but then again neither did a good-aligned Skaven but y'all made that work. @@reginaldgickington4793 Thing is, even though me and Jan found ways to make our rats sort of work, they are still somewhat a stretch. And even then, they both satisfied a bunch of criteria, and any character that wants to follow in their footsteps would need to be a character who: 1) is intrinsically useful to the point that killing them or denying their help would be at a major loss or risk to the U5 2) has no reason to betray the U5 (either cus they physically can't or cus their existence and winning means that the character also wins) 3) joining the U5 is in the character's best interest 4) is not 'true evil' or would at least go up against Chaos as a whole 5) would be opposed to the Pactsworn in some way (and now Sofia) Aside from a Lizardman Skink (because iirc Skinks are the only race of Lizardmen that can actually speak other languages), I could potentially see a Kislevite (perhaps an agent recommended by Olesya), a Bretonnian (though Markus' GK kind of invalidates this), a former Rotblood Norscan. I am sincerely doubtful that Saltzpyre would allow a vampire, an undead, or anything too tainted by Chaos, but I imagine with decent enough writing and enough thought put into it, you could convince me wrong lol
