Still not $140 value, but I honestly like this design a lot more than the original. The second floor's continuity is a big part of that, but a travel agency is a surprisingly perfect choice for limited-space facades like this!

This REALLY highlights how good that 8x16 sizing is for small city buildings. It's big enough to get some nice scenes/detail *and* some space for minifigs, without being any bigger than necessary. Comparing this build to the "A" build is night and day for playability.

I like actually how different are the architecture styles for each... room, and how colorful it is. I think these aspects make this building looking more alive.

I’m not a huge fan of the colors that show up here and there, though that’s just a side effect of the 3 in 1 process. I like some of the ideas here!

One of the big things that got me back into LEGO as an adult was the 3-in-1 buildings from a few years ago. I'm thinking particularly of the Townhouse Toy Store (31105) and the Townhouse Pet Shop & Café (31097). Those felt complete in a way that this one does not. They weren't modular in the sense that you could move rooms around as in the new City and Friends sets, but you could set up a street scene really well since they used pins to connect each building. I think Jang even referred to them once as "mini-modulars" in one of his reviews. I just bought this set and now I'm having buyer's remorse.

Its still an amazing partpack, I'm sure you will rebuild it for better building!

with the photo/tourism office and the giant "garage" space in the middle, this really reminds me of that one area in fisherman's wharf where you rent the gocars (3 wheelers)

This set is has a vibrant building exterior but it lacks depth for building of its size! I always loved 3-1 buildings but hopefully in the future we get appropriate interior as well! Thank you for another great review!! I always appreciate all the B and C model reviews hehe

interesting that there is one 8x16 module in this version. I do like some aspects of this over the first one -- the fact that there is a bit more space in each living unit for one. But the overall look of it isn't too exciting. Thanks for reviewing all 3 versions of these creator 3 in 1 sets. It's extra work for you, but much appreciated!

This is one of the reasons wh you are my favorite reviewer on KZbin. I don't think anyone else would have bothered with the alternative builds. I like this much more than the A model though. That's strange, but this feels like this has got a little bit more depth and space in the interiors and the interiors also feel a bit more complete.

I like this set. So when I was a kid They didn't have any good city buildings. Modular's while beautiful, are pricey now and were pricey then and tend to dwarf any other city sized set. With this one set you get enough to have a street with different enough buildings that also have enough interchangeable colored pieces that all work well together when you rearrange them. This set is big enough to give you the feel of having a downtown without having any other sets. If as a kid I had this and the 3 in 1 house set along with the city modern home that would be enough lego to feel like you have a complete enough city adequate for any role/story line based play. Were were never really interested in the police or fire sets as kids but even if we were...there were never any buildings with fires to put out or businesses robbers could rob from. For that aspect alone this set is great.

The overall layout isn't as big, but the added depth really helps to make this look like a more solid and substantial set of buildings, and each one has more space. The A model isn't much more than a glorified facade.

I love the concept - but I can’t see why the cost is that steep. Look forward to the C model Jang 👍

Hey Jang, not sure if you’ll see this, but may I ask what genre of music is in your videos?

I think I like it. I'm a fan of open areas in the buildings. The minifigures are really nice. Never paid attention to that the first one. The cafe worker needs to just have brown pants, that print is terrible.

I know B models aren’t supposed to feel like the full price - this kind of emphasizes for me the issue about price vs volume for this set specifically I do really like the builds tho!!

The minifigs and stickers (if any) are probably the only things worth getting - and getting them directly off of Bricklink or Brick Owl is the way to go

This feels like a disproportionate downgrade. And I don't even really dig the A model all that much.
