I still prefer Francesca Battistelli’s version. The way she sings makes me truly understand Mother Mary’s feelings and story-it’s like storytelling that resonates deeply. Every time I hear her sing, it moves me emotionally. Janica’s cover is okay, but it doesn’t evoke the same emotions for me. I’m sorry, but Francesca remains the best as the original singer!
