This is so timely for me especially in the area of singleness but other areas as well when I was 21 years old I gave my life to God I decided that I would remain abstinent(and have) until I got married and at 21 I certainly thought I would get married I just turned 39 and no prospects it’s definitely disheartening at times I feel like a failure , like I failed myself as a woman and I’m constantly asking God what’s wrong with me? But then I’m reminded that God has a due season and that in the right time he will bring the person he has for me and on the flipside I have to be at peace with the fact that I may not ever get married and learn how to enjoy my single life in a much better way.

@@yeppo222 Amen! I agree wholeheartedly with everything you have to share with me. Although it’s not always easy to implement I do agree with that marriage is just a small part of this life I do enjoy my free time maybe not as much as I can but I do enjoy it and appreciate God for it. Although I’m just 39 most people think I’m about 14 or 15 years old LOL so I totally agree that being single has kept me looking very young. Thank you for your kind words!

I learned years ago to never hold onto things tightly, especially my children. Everything belongs to God & He can change the plans of our lives at any moment according to His perfect will, which is always better than my plans.

So I'm watching this and Holy Spirit said; "If you choose him, why wouldn't you follow him?" That tells me that we don't even trust the choices we make sometimes. We make them but then live in expectations of "what if something goes wrong?" So because we expect something to go wrong we think that if we don't give our all then somehow we will come out less hurt because we were not giving our all🤷🏾‍♀️ But if you are confident that you are making the right choice in the Lord, you shouldn't struggle to submit to who you are partnering with because you trust that God will take care of the rest. We do this a lot in life and if something happens we immediately say; we knew sum'n wasn't right and sit in condemnation. Help your children, Father🙏🏾🙌🏾
