Her style is like nothing I have ever listened to. Shamelessly "screaming" in a melody that way brings a big risk of being too annoyng or loud... BUT NO WAY IN HER CASE. She didn't only scream fancy sounds, as other artists, she screamed emotions. She had an amazing talent of literally throwing raw, bloody emotions right in our faces. When she sang, you could feel the most genuine heartbreak and desperation, exactly the way she felt it. At least, that is what I feel everytime I listen to her.

She sang with so much raw emotion and soul she hurt herself a couple of times performing, put everything her Texas heart had into her music, love her.

Janis Joplin had something that few singers have today...she had talent and was singing from her heart. R. I. P. Great Janis you'll always have fans around the world because you're music is unique!!!😍😍😍

She felt this when she sang this. The emotion and words to this song were the only thing that existed when she sang it. The greatest singers in the world are like this. The real talent is being able to put your full life force into the emotion you are singing.

This my favourite song. There is nobody who can perform this song as Janis did. Poor soul, what a wretched life she had. So sad.
