So, not to disturb the people around, he quietly apologized and with a single hand lifted a barbell with huge weights on it. He was so nonchalant about it that everyone just stared at him in awe. Including Jen, a girl that Dave, the coach, was trying to impress for a long time. And when he saw how the gal was looking at the “nasty janitor”, Dave felt inferior.
So, he decided to punish Mike for humiliating him.
