Absolutely dude. I have many opinions on this matter and I'm interested to hear what others have to say about it. I may make a video soon to find out people's thoughts. i don't really fully know what this guy did as I've not read up on it (nor am I going to probably!) but, for me, someone in a band doing something illegal/morally wrong etc. doesn't make me suddenly hate music I've previously liked. If intrinsically I enjoy a piece of music then I find it difficult for anything to make me no longer like that piece of music. Other people feel very different. It's an interesting social concept for me that I'd like to explore in more depth.

Mikerisms I got u and I feel the exact same way it's funny really seeing how in trap and rap dudes talk about killing selling drugs and objectifying woman and lyrics or actions dont stop people from liking it. Example that Tay k kid raps about killing dudes when he has killed dudes before people made that kid blow up sorry for shitty example. But yeah stand by it, separate the art from the artist jank and panuccis pizza has great music that drama ruins it Abit but doesn't take away the fact that it's good music

Iit's basically just D standard (1 step down tuning), E string dropped to C, with a capo on the second fret. Pretty cooky tuning, having the as the low E is rarely tuned off by a semitone but it's nothing too crazy.

Yeah, after playing it a couple times it made sense but I'm not sure the tuning in the tabs was correct? Specifically the 4th string I have tuned as a G whereas the tabs say it should be Db.

Yes, I think its possible to seperate the art from the artist but with that comes a decision of how to go about consuming the art. Do you pay to go to a show? Will you buy the records? Listen on Spotify? Thats just my thought on this, tho. Personally I wont support the band, I will listen to their music but wont support em'. Great guitar cover!

bro you fuckin slayed this. bout to use this vid to learn it myself. keep it up man. as for the JANK situation, yeah matt diamonds a piece of shit and i have no respect for the dude but the thing about getting morally righteous with your music selection is that sooo many humans are pieces of shit and the more money you have the easier it is to hide that fact and even create a positive persona. The truth is i guarantee that many people that we all respect or enjoy the shit they make are secretly shitty people and have done things just as horrible. Some of who people consider to be the greatest minds to live were actually horrible people in a lot of ways, but if its not public knowledge so we all just dont think about it "how could THEY ever do something like that. I dont buy it". I dont like the dude, but i love the songs that were made by him and ruben and sam. If you cant bring yourself to listen to the music without dwelling on the knowledge you have of the artist and it makes you uncomfortable then by all means dont listen to it, but dont act like youre a better person than others just because they choose to still enjoy the material. I guarantee one of your favorite artists secretly has done some fucked up shit too but its all good cuz you dont know about it. Separate the art from the artist, or dont if you choose not to, but dont act like youre better than anyone else cuz youre not lol Enjoying art is not the same as supporting the creator. Im not making excuses for his actions, im not telling people its ok cuz his musics good. When i introduce this band to someone i always lead with how hes a piece of shit. Just be a good person, stand up against evil when you see it, but enjoy life.
