The idea with Taliyah- at least in solo q- is pretty simple. As Jankos said, she clears the jungle effortlessly and usually comes out faster than the enemy jungler (especially the stuff that gets played in competitive) which is a big plus. But what Jankos is missing is his perspective on her gold income- which makes sense, he's a professional jungler and they make a lot less gold but in soloq junglers make the second most gold (on average) after ADCs. The reason for that is that they get and participate in more kills than anyone else on the map while still having a solid, somewhat stable source of gold income. So while a Taliyah in a professional game might be fasting 24/7 having to share resources with their team, in soloq all you need is a couple kills and you're off to the races. You're doing more damage than anyone else in the game (assuming none of your laners had an 'incident' which, tbf, is not a fair assumption to make in soloq), you're a great front to back fighter and you can be a playmaker if you're creative with your ult. It honestly has a lot of upsides. And one of those is just what the ability to pick a strong AP jung does to your draft- you get to pick AP jung and mid and then the enemy jung top support and maybe even mid all have to build MR, which gives your team so much room. If you draft AD top then you also have 2 AD which pinches them even more. The pick does require a lot of support though, want at least 2 front liners and you need to draft consistent engage somewhere. The basic template is tank/fighter top, Tanky AP/Control Mage/Engage mid, and Tank/Engage support. If you have all these elements then it creates an extremely powerful comp with a simple gameplan that still has flexibility in how it plays it out in-game. Just don't let the enemy cheese you and shut down the Taliyah early because then the comp just sorta falls apart.

What is it with these guys thinking that there is no context ever where an NA team wins against LCK? League is not a 100% fair skill based game. If your draft and teamcomp is good you will win against a team even if they play 3 times better than you. Liquid lost because Ksante is useless in an actual teamfight that isn't started by jumping on the adc/midlaner and picking them off before the fight even starts. It was a draft loss, not a skill issue.

1:10:20 alistar ults for the radiant virtue healing on varus no? he did miss the WQ combo which would probably prevent ori from using zhonyas but I think he didn't expect the distance to be shortened so quickly by ori's flash therefore fucking up the timing on his combo. which to be honest is pretty fair. the timing between a max range WQ combo and a short range WQ feels a lot different. I'm sure several alistar mains would fuck up there
