nice warm embrace between Sinner and Pospisil at the end too. Obvious mutual respect between them

One of the best embraces i hv seen in long time. Pospisil played really gr8 at Sofia and the game could hv probably gone his way too... Respect for both Sinner and Pospisil. Sinner is such an interesting player to watch and i hope Pospisil keeps playing like this. I hv always felt he is underrated and overshadowed by other top canadian players like Raonic, Shapovalov and FAA. Tennis is the winner here :)

They should give him Federer's seeding for AO. Federer should spend time with his children. It's a disgrace that the fans are pressuring him and feeding him delusions. We don't want him in a wheelchair.
@eghosaswordontennis75214 жыл бұрын
We don't, but Federer says that he is not retiring and that he still has a little left in him. When he starts going down in the rankings, he will probably retire.

Federer may be on the verge of serious injury. He somehow managed to keep his ligaments intact after USO loss to Dimitrov and horrific attrition war vs Milman at AO 2020. Best he play it safe and retire at next Wimbledon after skipping AO.

True, but Pospisil is 11 years older and an ATP veteran and never won a tournament...Jannik went pro only in 2018 and already won a major tournament. Plus he has already beaten Tsisipas and Zverev and gave Nadal the hardest time at the Roland Garros, let that sink in. He might implode in the future like some other young talent before him, but I have the feeling that he has a strong mentality similar to Federer, so I think this kid will go very far.
