He is Italian, in every sport we get the best once we reach the final stages. Before that we can easily blow it. It’s a mentality thing that brings up the performance. We are a threat after we get through the early stages.

It's great to see the crowd embracing this young man. The fact that he came back from a two set deficit to win like that shows his mental resolve. I hope he goes on to win more. Well done Mr Sinner!

"If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!"

Congrats to Sinner for this EPIC VICTORY...At 22yo he already became one of most important Italian sportmen. Impossible not to love him, the public is and will be always rooting for him because he's so nice, respectful and humble, and he's so wonderful at playing tennis. in his interview all his being 100% Italian came out when he thanked his mum and dad for being so great with him... Only an Italian does that. Same as Benigni did when he won the Oscar for la vita è bella. And yes, la vita è bella... Grande Sinner 😊 A new Valentino Rossi guys 😊

To Djokovic haters, There's a saying we have in cricket: play boring cricket. That's basically what Djokovic does in tennis. He might be boring but he's the one of the best, if not already. Sinner had undeniable mental resolve, far more than what Medvedev could show. But imagine if you had a stadium with bellowing roars every time Medvedev scored a point, I wonder what would've happened then.
