I haven’t got the time to watch the whole match, can someone please kindly tell me how was Jannik’s hip and form? Was he clutching his hip or limping? Being a Jannik fan is hoping he’s healthy 70% of the time and then be happy when he wins for the other 25%

I didn't notice him actually limping but he did rub his hip several times during the match. It didn't seem to stop him, though. He played a very high level match. He's not at 100% yet but seems to be rounding into form.

@@sunmiu5319 I can feel your anxiety! they asked him during the press conerence (you can find it online). He said he did give him some trouble but it wasn't the pain he had back in Madrid. In any case, he said he is not concerned but he will do tests after this tournament. He thinks it is probably due to little rest from the Montreal tournament until now and the fact that he didn't practice nor play the week before

@@marissssss11111 thank goddess and thank you🥹 that’s some good news I absolutely needed. last month I was in tears when Andy got his big send off at Wimbledon, when he said he wished he could keep playing but he physically can’t. And early on today I read a comment saying Jannik walked like pre metal hip Andy and I was instantly worried to half death. Like he’s only 23 plus 2 days and already? Knowing he’s fine after all the injury scares comforts me more than him winning (the winning part is sweet tho🥰
