I just puchased this machine yesterday from my local sewing machine store! You did a great job of demonstrating the main reason I purchased this machine, thank you. It is going to get a work out today. Going to start out making lots of leggings.

Can you sew a side seam like on leggings with this? So attaching to pattern pieces together instead of just hemming? Thanks!
@rockymountainsewingandvacuum11 ай бұрын
You can, but we'd recommend taking your time to get all the way up the seam if it's already in a loop. It's perfect for that application as well!

Thank you very much/. Is this machine can make chain stitch with one top needle ( as FunLock Bernette 42/48)?
@rockymountainsewingandvacuum2 жыл бұрын
Yes! This machine can do a chainstitch as well.

@@rockymountainsewingandvacuum Hi! i purchased this machine. But I found that there is very complicated to balance tension of thread . I am unable to create the correct tension balance for different fabrics and different threads (because I change the color of the threads) and ending of triple cover stitch is very compliсated. Already waste a lot of time to balance tension or remove/insert needles.

@@leostrog88 We're sorry to hear that! We'd recommend bringing it to your local dealer to take a look at it, including thread, fabric, and needles you're using. If you can't do that, give us a call on our toll-free number here: 1-888-897-6362

Which one do you recommend : this Janome or the Bernini B64? Thanks !
@rockymountainsewingandvacuum2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Between those two machines, it depends on the type of serger you are looking for. This machine will only do coverstitch and chainstitch, so it is best for hemming knit fabrics or decorative sewing. The Bernette b64 is an overlooking machine that will finish off your seams and do rolled hems.
@RomiW2 жыл бұрын
I would chose the Janome because the Bernette doesn’t have free arm.
@andre1987eph2 жыл бұрын
They are two different types of machines. The Bernini is a serger. The Janome is a coverstitch machine. Some people buy both types to handle different phases of garment making. You would normally buy a serger before you buy a coverstitch.

What is your favorite cover stitch machine tho? (Ie, your personal favorite)
@rockymountainsewingandvacuum2 жыл бұрын
This coverstitch only machine is fabulous. For a combination machine that can do coverstitch, we also love the Bernina L890 or Pfaff Admire Air 7000!

Could i buy this machine and forgo a surger????
@rockymountainsewingandvacuum2 жыл бұрын
This machine is a coverstitch exclusive machine, so it won't do any overlocking stitches. If you're looking for a machine to mostly hem or do coverstitch assembling techniques, then this would be perfect! It won't cut off excess fabric while reinforcing the edges though.
