Thank you for the explanation for what you mean by movement. The illustration of the marble counter top, and how our eye follows the movement that was excellent! Now I understand better what you are trying to get across to us. Also the fact you slowly pushed the paint allowing us to see better what you are doing. I was struggling with how to do that. I’m so grateful for this teaching challenge, I can already see improvement in my paintings.

Finished number 15! One of my problems is that I can’t see the white pedals, the rest of the rose almost seems to light colored, should I try to darken my base rose color? Loving the series!!! It will take me a bit longer since I started late and can’t always do one a day, but I’m working at it. Thank You! 😌

Don't forget you can restate the bowl shadow at any time. That will help keep the bowl a little darker. Try to never lose the bowl. That is the key to the shape.
