I used my Jansport backpack for like 6 years. I didn't really take care of it, carrying heavy stuff and using one handle to carry it around . I swear it's so durable.. after all those years there is no sign of wear.. How did you manage to rip it off haha.

ya same with my previous backpacks but i think its luck because one of my recently new ones less than a year old had the backpack strap ripped from it but the older ones are in good condition😊

I have had mine for a long time as well. I have given my backpack the same type of use as you have. I would only use one handle with heavy loads. I will also take my bag on trips and on hiking trails which may be what caused the rip.

they repaired it. the cost was between $5-10 using USPS. To me it was worth it because its a good backpack and the shipping is probably less than taxes on a new one. best regards.

My Jansport weighs about 12 ounces, which qualifies for USPS First Class Shipping (under 1 lb to qualify for that class) & it should cost under $6

Do you need a receipt from where you bought your Jansport in order for the lifetime guarantee to work or something? Or you just have to ship the damaged backpack to them and fill up the form?

No you don't need the receipt I've done the warranty multiple times just got my backpack back brand new actually you just fill out the form pay for shipping then you'll get an email saying they got the item and they fix it real fast depending on the time of year like back to school time is a little slower so it took awhile for mine this time any other time maybe a week and a half tops. Hope that helped

Maybe everything of the reason that it's fake?..... u know, original jansport backpacks have a label on the stripe, but ur one doesn't... so fake backpacks are usually cheaper and their quality is lower...

its an original JanSport.. it just wore out. if it was fake they would have not repaired it.

if it was fake, they wouldn't repair it. They ask for authenticity by the tags inside of the bag.
