They still have lifetime warranties on them. Some (not all) JanSports are still USA made. We also live in a modern era where companies like GoRuck and Mystery Ranch are making bags that can be dragged across concrete and still show minimal wear. JanSport is something entirely different. I've always felt mine were durable enough for an urban commute.

15 beers is solid capacity. a little apprehensive about springing for this bag as a cyclist. I carry my laptop and a little concerned about the stability of the laptop pocket, as well as the padding. Should I spring for a neoprene sleeve for extra protection or is the sleeve in the back sufficient?

Generally, backpacks like the Right Pack model often showcase the brand logo on the front pocket or another visible area. does anybody know how to clean the bottom? i just got mine 2 weeks ago and i used it in school and got dirty very soon even though i tried to be careful with it, not putting it on the ground or touching anything but it still got dirty. Please help!!
