NEVER SPEAK WITH COPS AND ONLY SAY THIS "Am I free to go or are you detaining me and if so what crime do you suspect me of committing?". If they refuse to tell you "YES, you're being detained" then just walk off and keep going. On a side note, if you're free to go you're also free to stay. Don't ever subject yourself to questioning by LEO's, NEVER answer any questions, invoke your 5th Amendment right to remain SILENT and ignore their repeated attempts at getting answers from you once you invoke your RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT. Take it from a retired LEO, COPS ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!*
