Aw the “mummy and me” shirts are so cool. Mum and I did that a lot when I was a teen too. You made great pieces! I’m also digging the loose planning around my sewing. It’s fun so sew whatever comes up spontaneously. Great vlog 😊.

Loved every outfit you made and explanation of changes and why it was necessary. It really helps me. I'm constructing a blouse, right now and having to cut the size down, which is good. I'm learning a lot from you and other sewers on KZbin and Instagram.

I love all your makes. I really like the shirt you have on, altho you never showed us. Love those colors. Also, the cropped jacket you got inspired off Etsy, is great. I love it. I have a pattern to make from New Look 6390 It is very similar. Thanks for sharing

Vivmom Sews Hi Viv, thanks so much. Pretty much I’m 100% for myself. I’m just not a fan of having to make a ton of changes and nearly all Indie I’ve tried needed minimal adjusting. I love Raspberry Creek, Knitpop and So Sew English; all great for knits. Thanks hon!

You have been so prolific ! I hadn't made any clothing since Oct as I have been on Baby Quilt making mode - 7 so far ! but I brought a new pattern Thursday from Pattern Emporium for shorts and made 3 pairs of different lengths on the weekend so my sewjo is back in force ( started a top today) I am catching up on vlogs I missed last month so am off to see your Mayfield and roundup ones now. Just have to say again how great you are looking are you still losing or are you at goal ? I have managed to lose the 4 kgs I gained last year when my Thyroid went nuts ! so am happy with that. Hope you are happy in your new place and finding your feet ( and sewing shops) xx

Yeah, I don't quite know how that happened lol! 7?!?! Woah, I'm still not working on any of mine. I'm so sidetracked by clothes at the moment. I saw those shorts on IG, love them! I went and checked out the pattern/company because I'd not heard of them before, they've got some lovely ones. I have reached my initial goal of 160, that I never thought I'd reach and have set myself a new goal of 145 but uh, I'm having a tough time. I keep losing and gaining the same 2 pounds. I haven't been focused, so I need to recenter myself and charge on! I'm hoping you got the thyroid straightened out, it can wreak havoc on people's weight. We are loving it here, except maybe not the wind but hey, can't have it all lol. I've found a few but there are loads more to discover, it's a quilting haven here! Thanks for popping in!

Did the fabric for Jack's Fairfield button down shirt come from Jo-Ann's? I saw a beautiful piece there with those same colors that was gorgeous, but I can't decide if it was just similar or the same one. All your garments are lovely as usual. I, of course, love the mother/daughter shirts best; what a great fabric combo!
