Living there made me hate the warmer months because there are so many of them there, and it's not just warm, it's HOT. I'm back in Michigan now and reveling in it. 😁

I feel so bad for you! I had that issue for 6 months! I was been awakened at 2-3 in the morning. I did complain to no avail. Finally I was headed to a lawyer and they moved me to another apartment. In my case it wasn’t a child but an adult who felt like because we are in apartments people should just accept and deal with the noise! I pray it gets better for you.

I think you think we hear a lot more than we do. As a mother of a little ones that lives in an apartment briefly, she's probably equally stressed out if not more about all the noise and is trying her best to no disturb you. Gotta love apartment living. You know what you're signing up for when you move in 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes I know, it’s just excessive. I had 4 kids so I do get it, and she may not be aware of how the noise carries to be honest, but i think there should be able to be SOME rules, maybe only running for a little bit per day instead of most of the day. But I don’t know them or their situation. I know it’s hard to control and I’m trying to be understanding but it is really becoming an issue for my stress level.

I purchased a condo in 2018 on the second floor of a 3-story building. I had 2 grown men, both morbidly obese, who were on disability and home all day. They were the loudest, rudest, neighbors I ever had. They would play loud bass music that would vibrate through my entire home, they stomped all over the floor for hours on end. It was a terrible experience. After multiple rude and somewhat scary encounters with them(they were severely mentally ill) I started calling the police and they finally stopped after 2 years of dealing with it. Anyway, sorry you're dealing with noisy neighbors, I know how it can really make feel absolutely crazy.

Do not hear any noise, don't worry about it so much :) Husband and I went to one of those for the first time after only 6 weeks of our son being gone. It was devastating. I cried the whole time, hearing all the stories. And, they had a display of photos, where they put all the deceased playing on a loop, but they didn't inform us of that, so I was in complete shock when I looked up and saw my son's picture, so be prepared for that just in case. We went only 2 or 3 times, but I think it was way too early for us. I wish you well. Ironically enough, my son passed on Jan 12.

When you live outside of the Buffalo area, you better like winter or you will be miserable for a LONG time each year. So far this winter we have had 2 major storms. Both dropped 4-5 foot of snow each time. Winter isnt my favorite by any means, but wouldnt trade the 4 distinct seasons we get every year for anything

You have all of my empathy with the noise! Several months after I moved into my dream apartment, I was enjoying a quiet, peaceful morning when suddenly construction noises started from next door. They had begun a renovation with absolutely no warning! And what they said would take two weeks turned into nearly three months!! I got very upset too. If it helps a little, the noise wasn’t too bad in the video.

I’m so sorry but I busted out laughing when you said there are dogs and kids above you. Ok here’s my attempt to make you feel better. I work at a major industrial manufacturing facility. All day and night there are cranes 4 stories high that have to sound an alarm when in motion for safety. My admin building is next to train tracks that bring in raw materials. There are mobile cranes moving piles of that material. After decades of that, I don’t notice it. But the kicker is before I started there, I worked at University. I went from total quiet to the total opposite 😆.

First this is a really cute spread, And I can assure you, we could not hear the noise the kids were making. I had/have the same situation in my condo. You learn to tolerate it. But if it is bad, go upstairs and explain that you work from home and the noise can be distracting. Many times they will understand. But your microphone did not pick it up.

I would almost expect it living in a shared home/apartment building. They’re children living in their new home. I’d be more pissed if it wa 3am and they were jumping up and down. You know, if it continues, you can let your apartment manager know and they can address it. While I get having small kids, I have 7 of my own, it’s like an in-written rule that you teach your kids to be respectful and take those around us into consideration. The parents need to not let the child/children be jumping and stomping around constantly. Normal movement is one thing but having to listen to thumping and yelling all day is not okay. That was in every lease agreement I ever signed in our younger days when we lived in apartments.

like others have said, i can barely hear anything. it definitely doesn’t bother me. i’m sorry you have to hear it and that it bothers you. unfortunately, i don’t have any suggestions for you dealing with the noise while filming, but if you start getting complaints from viewers, try a clip on microphone that is good for cancelling background noises.
