nice build . suggestion the aluminum panels that make up the rear of the front wheel well , they are riveted together i screwed mine together because YOU will be replacing header collector gaskets sometime in the future the upper collector flange bolt is a pia to get at plus laying on the ground is no fun . if the panel is removed you can access the collector and bolts easier , weve had our mk1 for 18 years and have enjoyed every mile

I'm actually not using the side pipes so I won't have a header collector. I'll be going with the standard J-pipes off the shorty headers, and fabricating Spinworks low-profile mufflers with oval tubing under the car, then ditching the exhaust out right in front of the rear tires.

I really enjoyed your video. I have some questions about the front brakes. 1. Did you have to modify anything for them to fit. 2. What year make and model Cadillac did they come from. I am starting my build and have been looking for front brakes for it and this seems like a great solution. Thanks for any advice you may have.
