BSU and TCU were both great teams back in the day. I don't think other teams wanted to play them in Bowl Games, so they had them play each other.

Both of these teams would have gone far in today’s playoff. Glad things have evolved since then but any playoff benefits Boise gets with seeding this year is just making up for the years of injustice
