I have been growing strawberries for a few years. One thing that works well for me is before you even have berries, paint some “berry” sized rocks red with little dots on them to look like berries. Place them around the plant. The birds will knick their beaks on them when they try to eat them which they strongly dislike and this will deter them from coming back when the actual berries do appear. Keep the rocks there throughout the fruit bearing season as well.

Tips for removing salmon skin easily: 1) put a cooling rack in your sink, place salmon fillets on it skin side up, pour boiling water over them, then easily peel the skin off. 2) briefly pan-fry the salmon skin side down just until skin loosens and comes off easily.

A strawberry trick - we always paint rocks to look like strawberries and place them all around our strawberry plants. The birds will peck the rocks and hopefully deter them from messing with the berries!! 🍓 It is not a fix all, but it certainly helps!

there was a point in my life when everything seemed off. wrong people, wrong opportunities-it was all wrong. someone suggested i read Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and wow, it opened my eyes. there’s a part where it explains how your energy creates patterns you don’t even realize. chapter 4 hit me the hardest-it’s life-changing.

A cute way I've seen to protect strawberries from birds is to paint little rocks to look like strawberries and cover them in a glossy modge podge. The birds will try to poke them and realize they are hard and wont come back when the real berries are there. And its cute and fairy-esk!

I cook the way you cook! So glad I’m not alone! I always take an hour. Next time I am trying prep like you said! 😅❤
@TessaOswin12 күн бұрын
Preparing all the ingredients can save time if they are all needed close to each other (like in a stir fry) but if the is something that need to cook down before you add others (like onion) then I normally find getting the onion cooking then cut everything else is most time efficient. The one thing that 100% saves time is collecting all the ingredients before start and putting them together, this also means if you are missing something you can improvise or not cook that recipe without getting halfway through before you discover what your missing. Also have everything out gives you a much better idea of what utensils you need (do you need long handle spoons etc to get ingredients out of the jars)
