Thank you so much for sharing your garden in its sleeping stage, I have written that you are the reason I started to love roses after watching one of your older videos. I was enchanted with everything you featured. The roses got from David Austin are looking spindly and bare but now I am not too worried after seeing yours look similar and I know yours get so beautiful once they begin to bloom. I am waiting patiently to see everything in your garden wake up and show its beauty ❤

Really enjoy watching your garden videos here in the South. I live in Cumming and recently started gardening here. I love roses but quickly come to realize how challenging it could be here in the south growing them with all the humidity, heat and rain downpours. But Im still giving it a try! Thanks for all your garden tours, really enjoy them!

Omg, can't wait to see your garden bloom this year!!! Lol, I'm excited for you!!! I can totally understand getting landscapers to help you out, your yard is humongous!!!!!!!!😅 lol. I would die!🤣 I have a question about your Olivia that is growing on that arch in the front. How do you prune her??? Like a climber?? I have one growing on an obelisk and I'm contemplating chopping her back being she is supposed to be a shrub right? Mine throws out super long canes so I actually wrapped her around my obelisk and the laterals did pop out, but even the laterals got so long!! I guess ny climate here in Hawaii makes them grow like crazy! 😅 I'm not sure what to do... will her flowers get bigger if I chop her back??? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Uggggh cutting my roses back is so mind boggling for me, lol, gives me anxiety!!! 😅 Help!!😁🙏🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤙oh, btw, I loved your Pomponella so much over these years, I finally got her, costed me an arm and a leg but I finally got her!!! Her flowers are so cute. Thank you for all your videos. I love watching them!!!!

I completely understand! That is one great thing about David Austin roses, you can train them to be a climber or stay low as a shrub, so it’s completely up to you! If you want to keep it as a climber then take all that growth and wrap it around the obelisk so the canes are as lateral/horizontal as possible, and it will bloom like crazy for you! Just make sure to feed her a lot!

So what happens if your daffodils get freeze do you just cut them back? I planted some here in Texas zone 9B but I heard in February we will be getting a freeze again, so what do you think I should do if they were to freeze. They’re barely coming out??
@summermoongarden8 ай бұрын
They can handle freezing temps! Just leave them be, they will be fine!
