Onyx Storm yeeeeesss. Highest priority of the month! I am trying to read books that I have had on my shelves for a long time, so my other priorities are Sirens and Muses by Antonia Angress and Nightcrawling by Leila Mottley. I am in such a lit fic mood! You are goals when it comes to purchasing books - I want to be like that one day once I enjoy my current "wine cellar" level of books (I have over 100 unread - and I am honestly looking forward to them all)

10 books a month being safe is crazy, i commend you. My procrastinating ahh will be lucky if i read 1 book per month 😂 But im picking up pace, i learned that reading books i dont enjoy puts me into reading slumps, so i learned to DNF books, and it helped me.

Great list! I started the Chestnut Springs series last month and am really enjoying it so far. I liked Flawless but the 2nd book is definitely better (in my opinion). The audiobooks are a good way to go. If you have kindle unlimited, the audiobooks are a little cheaper to purchase when you download the KU book. Flawless does have some bull riding scenes, but I don't feel like they were super prevalent. I'm on book 3 now and hope to finish the series this month.

Flawless doesn't focus a LOT on bull riding, but it is in there a couple times (from what I remember). I think if you wanted to skip it and just read the second one, that would be fine. Or if you do try Flawless and don't like it, I would still recommend trying Heartless.

❄️ I just saw on tiktok Rebecca Yarros said red tower and target are releasing a soecial edition of Onyx Storm that has interior artwork and the sticker DOES come off (no preorders, available on the 21st, online and in store) 👀 I already preorder a copy from somewhere else but I'll definitely try getting my hands on this one because of the art.

I don’t think you’ll enjoy Flawless but I would say give Heartless a try. That was my favorite from the series along with Reckless. You can always go back to Flawless if you like Heartless enough. Also, I really didn’t like Mile High either but decided to try books 2, The Right Move and loved it. Just fyi if you want to give Liz Tomforde another try 🤷🏼‍♀️ ❄️

🐍 Great list! I don't think you'll like Heartless either. Dunno if you'd hate it though. For me, the series was a quick easy read and my favorite was Powerless and even that was like a 4.25 star. I like Elsie Silver it seems and I'm excited for her other series ❤

Please read Empire of Flame and Thorns by Marion Blackwood. It’s a Enemies to Lovers Fae Dragonshifter romance with life and death trials and a huge cliff hanger. Is it a perfect five star read ? No but it’s a very fun read. I feel like you would enjoy it. More people need to read the book.

Chestnut Springs is great but Flawless wasn’t my favorite. There’s maybe two bull riding scenes? But heartless I LOVED. The mmc just runs the ranch she it’s much more horse girl oriented.

To me, the bull riding wasn't the big emphasis in Flawless. It was his family and the main characters' relationship.

If you want to skip Reckless then I absolutely absolutely recommend Heartless which is the best in the series, and has no bull riding.

I found an indie copy of Heartless for cheap and I love the old school romance cover (the person didn't know what they had)! Are there any parts that are difficult to understand without having read Reckless?
